Buckinghamshire Freemasons Gather for Their Annual Provincial Meeting at Freemasons’ Hall, London

A day of celebration, fraternity and renewal as more than 500 Brethren, family members and friends unite in the heart of London.

London, 12 October 2025 — Freemasons’ Hall on Great Queen Street opened its doors this morning to welcome more than 500 Brethren, families and friends attending the Buckinghamshire Annual Provincial Meeting — one of the highlights of the Masonic calendar in England.

The atmosphere was one of joy and fraternity as members from across the Province gathered in the historic building that serves as the home of the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE).

The meeting marks a special occasion: it is the first official Provincial assembly presided over by the newly installed Provincial Grand Master of Buckinghamshire, a moment that combines continuity with renewal in the life of the Province.

Throughout the day, visitors shared in ceremonies, presentations and conversations reflecting the Province’s ongoing commitment to charity, education and community involvement. The sense of unity was palpable — a reminder that Freemasonry’s strength lies in its ability to connect people through shared values rather than hierarchy.

As the event drew to a close, Brethren departed with renewed enthusiasm for their work within lodges across Buckinghamshire, carrying forward the message of integrity, friendship and service that defines the Craft.

Freemasonry remains a living tradition — rooted in the local community, yet open to the world.
