Our November meeting always means a lot to us. It's a chance for us to reflect and honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice and those who came back with the scars of war.
Brother Captain Boyce-Thompson led the ceremony with a heartfelt speech with touching tributes from Worshipful Brother Roy Chapman and Brother Wesley Boyce.
Alongside Worshipful Brother Roy Chapman were visitors from The Manchester Level Club invited by the Chairman and Deputy Chairman of the Club, Paul Mansell & Hiten Patel, both members of our lodge. We want to thank our visitors for sharing this special evening with us and of course we thank all the service men and women who fought in the wars for us.
They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
At the going down of the sun and in the morning We will remember them.
WE WILL REMEMBER THEM.
