To mark the 100th anniversary of the initiation of King George VI, the Grand Master, HRH The Duke of Kent, sent the following note to Her Majesty The Queen:

"“On the occasion of the one hundredth anniversary of His late Majesty King George the Sixth being made a Freemason in Navy Lodge, No. 2612, all Freemasons under the United Grand Lodge of England send loyal greetings to Your Majesty.
