On Saturday 10th March I had the great pleasure of accompanying PM Bro ROBERT STEWART and MM Bro Ryan Holmes of Lodge Abercrombie 531 to Bro Stewart’s Mother Lodge St Machar 54 in Aberdeen where we were warmly welcomed into the lodge by the RWM Bro Joshua Masson, Master Elect Master PMs, Office Bearers & Brethern Also welcomed into the lodge was an 18 Brethren Deputation from the PGL of Aberdeen City headed by the RWPGM Bro Ian M Williamson accompanied by the IPPGM Bro John Muirhead. Next into the Lodge were the Installing Masters headed by Bro James C McIntyre PM, Bro Michael Taylor PM, Bro Brian Christie PM, Bro Peter Taylor PM 448. The ceremonial of Installation was carried out to a very high standard. The RWM Bro Joshua Masson was placed into the chair of KS Where he surveyed his lodge from the East. At the conclusion of the Installation RWM Bro Masson Thanked his Installing Masters for an excellent Installation he also thanked The RWPGM Bro Ian M Williamson for his and the PGL of Aberdeen City for their presence today. At the conclusion of the Installation the RWM Bro Joshua Masson invited everyone to stay behind for some lodge hospitality which was excellent fare and the Harmony in which I told my 4 jokes which included the one about the Salesman on his way to Aberdeen which to my surprise was well received by the Brethren. I must have had too much to drink or I’am very brave to tell a joke in Aberdeen about 🐑🐑🐑 I think it was the first point. Peter was playing his guitar and singing which had everyone singing along A great day was spent in the company of the Brethren of Lodge St Machar 54 where the 3 of us made many new friends.
